Essie on Clearance!!

Recently moved to a new city & I totally fell off blogging for a while. :(

But I'm back now and totally determined to start blogging religiously! 

Anyhow, I'm pretty excited because we moved into a neighborhood with a Rite-Aid right on my street corner, literally like 5 houses away from mine, How awesome is that? Ran into the store a couple days ago and just wandered around, like usual i ended up in the beauty section. This Rite Aid has a certain shelf for clearance items so i decided to look there first, and there on the second shelf was a plastic bin full of Essie nail polish, heaven! Everything was 50% but i only came out buying two. I grabbed "The Devils Advocate" (a deeply devilish black plum) & "Shine of the Times" (from there Luxe Effect Collection) both come out to $3.99 each. So i payed $8.99 for both which is like the price for one, SCORE!

UP ALL NIGHT

I couldn't sleep last night & while my two loves 

were deep in there snoring sleep, I was up staring at the ceiling!

I've been suffering from insomnia ever since i had CJ, (which has been 2 years now!) *sigh

sometimes it gets better and i get into a good sleeping pattern

but as of lately its been getting pretty bad.

so i tried my hardest to fall asleep, my body was tired but my mind was still racing. 

( dont you hate that?)

Decided to see if there was any new shows or drama's I could start.

Saw some previews a while ago about this show called "Up All Night"

Starring : Christina Applegate , Will Arnette , & Maya Rudolph.

LOL! I am in love with this show. 

This depicts alot of things my husband & I were going through

as first time parents. I love Maya Rudolphs character AVA,

shes like a ghetto-fab oprah! Hahaha.

I'm only one the 3rd episode but i know i'm going to be an avid follower!

Do any of you watch this show? How do you like it?

Running Errands

Had to go run some errands today with DH, & Babygirl.

finally got my holiday starbucks fix.

Peppermint White Chocolate Mocha!

After running all our important errands we decided to 

shop for cushions for this window nook we have in our room.

We went to Ross & all they had that could fit in our nook 

were these big doggy bed pillows. :( *hmmph.

I've been looking everywhere for some inexpensive cushions for this nook

still no luck... 

Ended up going next door to Dollar Tree to get Babygirl 

some little things. I actually got some pretty good little acessories for her.

- 2 Flower Hair Clips

-1 Lavender Beanie

- 2 Tights, ( the other one was opened already)

- Dora the Explorer Brush!

2011 E.l.f. Holiday: Natural Eye & Warm Palettes!

A couple days ago I had to make a run to Super Target for some baby essentials. 

I stopped by the beauty aisle just to browse & lo and behold 

they had stocked a shelf with the 2011 Elf Holiday Palettes & Accessories!

I decided to go for the Neutrals, so i grabbed the Holiday Beauty Natural  Eye Palette 

& Studio Endless Eyes Pro Mini Warm Eyeshadow Palette – Limited Edition

 Both of Which were only $5 Dollars Each! 

The Warm Palette on the bottom was also in a silver sparkly box, 

but little old me was too excited to open it and accidentally threw away the box

This Palette came with 

-1 Sponge Applicator (thrown away)

-1 Mini Coffee Eyeliner (not shown)

The Coffee Eyeliner is a Dark Taupe'y Brown Color.

I mostly prefer using black eyeliners so i figured i would use it for my eyebrows. 

I actually loved it as an eyebrow pencil.

Rating: 7/10 

The Natural Eye Palette had alot of Chalky shadows

i was very disappointed! Just touching some shadows to swatch had them

breaking up on me. There was only like 3 or 4 shadows that were even 

remotely pigmented enough for me to use. 

The only upside was that i found a new eyebrow pencil with 

the mini coffee eyeliner this came with!

Endless Eyes Pro Mini Warm Eyeshadow Palette

Now this one on the other hand is 10x better! The shadows are smaller but 

way more pigmented than The Natural Eye.

I know i'll be using this alot throughout this time of year.

This little palette is a great addition for the fall

 & especially for all those girls & mommy's on a budget!
